Three incumbents and their running mate, all Republicans, were re-elected or elected to the Souderton Area School Board Tuesday in local elections.

Unofficial counts on the Montgomery County website the morning after Election Day Wednesday morning showed Andrew D. Landis, running for his first term, with 8,095 votes and incumbents Janet Flisak with 8,032 votes, Stephen Nelson with 7,883 and William J. Brong with 7,371. Democrat Scott P. Swindells, the only other candidate on the ballot, had 5,018 votes, leaving Landis, Flisak, Nelson and Brong as the winners of the four four-year seats up for election.

A bipartisan slate of Swindells and write-ins Dan DeMeno, Larry Dick and Alex Wisser had run as the Souderton Area for Responsible Leadership team, but the number of write-in votes recorded was not enough to have won any of the seats.

Unofficial counts on the Bucks County website for the Bucks County portion of Telford showed Landis with 364 votes, Flisak with 363, Nelson at 354, Brong at 330 and Swindells with 231 votes.
