The Storm Lake Board of Education yesterday approved the contract with W.A. Klinger out of Sioux City for the construction of the new Early Elementary Building.
The cost of the project is nearly 15-point-three million dollars.
COO Jeff Tollefson asked the Board if they would like to have a groundbreaking ceremony, which they are in favor of.
The new Early Elementary Building is scheduled to open in the middle of the 2021-2022 school year.
