One of the few F-Type Project 7s to be sold in the U.S. is currently up for auction. Jaguar only ever built 250 examples of the F-Type Project 7 and just 50 of them were delivered to the United States.
The original owner purchased it new in December 2015 and has only driven 900 miles (1,448 km). It is finished in British Racing Green, a $10,000 option, and is being sold with a factory-issued matching helmet, a car cover, annual service records, certificate of authenticity, a clean Carfax report and a clean New Jersey title.

While the Project 7 is based on the standard F-Type Convertible, it does feature a host of bespoke exterior parts, including a large buttress behind the driver’s headrest as a way to pay tribute to the iconic Jaguar D-Type. Additionally, the Project 7 has a unique front splitter, rear wing and rear diffuser and ditches the F-Type’s standard folding soft top in favor of a snap-on rain fly.
Inside, the British sports car features bolstered seats upholstered in black leather with debossed Project 8 logos on the headrests. There is also patterned stitching on the seat and door inserts, as well as a host of carbon fiber trims.
Power comes from a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 with 575 hp at 6,500 rpm and 502 lb-ft (680 Nm) of torque at 2,500 rpm, which are delivered to the rear wheels through a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission.
The car was sold new for $175,995 so it will be interesting to see how much it will fetch at the Bring A Trailer auction that ends in four days from now.
