EAST LIVERPOOL — City school district board members spent around 25 minutes, tieing up some loose ends with their personnel needs during their June meeting.
The board agreed to accept the resignations of Michaela Herrmann and Mariah Kerr, both who had been speech pathologists with the district effective June 1.
New hires included Robert Nizer as a new high school entrepreneurship instructor for $49,985.08 ; Shoshanna Fineman, high school Spanish instructor, $40,480.87; Ashley Clutter, multiple handicapped teacher at LaCroft, $45,232.987; Scott Hiemstra, varsity wrestling coach, $5,858.12; Leslie Dawson, varsity cheerleading adviser, $3,090.54; Daniel Moore as varsity assistant and preseason football coach at $3.188.85; Jennifer Ludwig, district ticket manager, $3,416.67; and Julie Voorhees as a volunteer cross country coach.
The board also approved a contract with Johnson Controls between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2024, costing $7,992 in year one, $8,312 in year two and $8,645 in year three as well as an one-year contract with Uncharted Learning for curriculum at a cost of $15,000.
Members also agreed to pay personal development stipends to Jenna Cope, Kacey Costal, Mary Davis, Andrea Gruhalia, Karen Hazel, Sheryl White, Sunny Wright, Trudy Campbell, Brittany Marino, Dottie Orlo, Kelsey Rickerd, Pamela Schleef, Daniela Sutton, Nancy Adreon, Carrie Bzinak, Brian Grant, William Ramsey, Tonyea Roberts, Brad Conley, Sharon Caiazza, Nancy Fores and Michelle Schaefer.
The following educators also received professional services and activities stipends: Mary Davis, Trudy Campbell, Barbara Jeffries, Brittany Marino, Kelsey Rickerd, Carrie Bzinak, Brian Grant, Mary Murray, William Ramsey, Tonyea Roberts and Michelle Roberts.
In other action, the transportation director’s request for one buss to transport Rising Scholars program from Westgate schools to various locations starting Friday was approved.
