Newcomers Judy Dae and Kristen Davison Malone have won election to the Fort Bend ISD board of trustees.

As of 10:21 p.m., Fort Bend County is reporting election day results from all 53 vote centers.

Dae won the Position 2 seat with 59.14% of the vote. Ashish Agrawal trailed with 27.69% of the vote, while Rehan Ahmed received 10.27%, and Nadeem Naik received 2.89%. Grayle James, who currently holds the Position 2 seat, did not seek re-election.

In the race for Position 6, Malone has defeated incumbent Addie Heyliger and four other challengers.

Malone garnered 36.78% of the vote. Heyliger received the second-highest share of the vote with 27.26%. Candidates Stephanie Brown, Allison Drew, Rafat Ulain Jilani and Edtrina Moss each had less than 15% of the vote.

There are no runoff elections for FBISD seats, so candidates only needed a plurality to win.

All results are unofficial until canvassed and certified.

Voters in Fort Bend ISD cast ballots in two board of trustees races during the May 1 election.

With Fort Bend County reporting early and absentee results, Judy Dae is leading the race for Position 2 while Kristen Davison Malone is ahead in the Position 6 race.

In the Position 2 election, Dae has received 59.46% of the vote, leading Ashish Agrawal, Rehan Ahmed and Nadeem Naik. Agrawal has received 27.78% of the vote, while Ahmed and Naik have 9.91% and 2.86%, respectively.

In the Position 6 race, Kristen Davison Malone leads the field of six candidates with 2,379 votes—or 35.46%. Incumbent Addie Heyliger has garnered the second highest vote total at 1,915 votes—or 28.54%. Stephanie Brown trails with 14.92%, Allison Drew with 10.69%, Rafat Ulain Jilani with 8.48% and Edtrina Moss with 1.91%.

There are no runoff elections for FBISD seats, so the candidate that receives the most votes will be elected.

Results are updated as of 7 p.m. and are unofficial until they are canvassed and certified by the county clerk.
