Defense tech firm's board adds former Carlyle government market team lead
The board of directors at defense technology company Parry Labs has elected a new member in Adam Palmer, formerly head of The Carlyle Group’s government market team.
Parry Labs said Tuesday that Palmer will be an independent member of its board that also includes company founders Robert Miller and CEO John Parkes, plus board chairman David Gross.
Palmer is a co-founder of private investment firm Capitol Meridian Partners and started that entity after 25 years at Carlyle.
He most recently was managing director and global head of Carlyle’s aerospace, defense and government services investment team between 2011 and 2021.
Gross is also known as a co- founder of Leonardo DRS along with Leonard Newman, both of whom started that company in 1968.
