JACKSON, Tenn.—Urgent blood donations needed.
According to LIFELINE Blood Services, the organization has an immediate need for Type O Negative blood. The organization took to its social media this week to express the urgent need and plea for donations.
LIFELINE describes Type O as the universal blood type and says it is recognized as the preferred choice for transfusions.
