The Mid-City Neighborhood Organization is holding the annual election for board members at its Monday (Dec. 14) meeting.
The MCNO Board of Directors is comprised of up to 11 members who serve the organization as volunteers for terms of two years. Six total positions are open, with three current board members seeking re-election, leaving three open positions on the board.
Anyone interested in running for the MCNO board is asked to to declare by sending an introductory paragraph to info@mcno.org. The board terms will run from Jan. 1, 2021, to Dec. 31, 2022.
If you would like to be considered for a board position and not already a member, complete the membership registration here . If you are unsure of your membership status, email president@mcno.org to inquire. Membership and residency within the organization’s boundaries are requirements to be considered.
The MCNO defines the MId-City boundaries as the Pontchartrain Expressway to City Park Ave., to North Carrollton Avenue, to Orleans Avenue, to Broad Street to the Pontchartrain Expressway.

Elections will be held Monday, Dec. 14, the last MCNO general meeting of the year. The meeting will be held via Google Meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
