Commissioners will hear an update on COVID-19 from Dr. Tom Locke at 9:45 a.m. They also will consider an update to the county’s personnel administration manual and a fifth temporary policy for COVID-19 response.
They will discuss the emergency supplemental budget extension for Public Health’s land acquisition fund. A public hearing on the budget measure is schedule for 10:30 a.m. Jan. 18.
Items on the consent agenda include agreements regarding lower Big Quilcene River design and acquisition and lower Big Quilcene floodplain and acquisition, an erosion report on Rialto Beach, supplemental funding for virtual emergency management software, supplemental funding to hire a clerk for community outreach and training programs as well as several advisory board appointments and reappointments.
Port Townsend city
The Port Townsend City Council will consider endorsing Local 20/20’s Taming Bigfoot campaign to reduce greenhouse gas emissions when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

The Quilcene School Board will conduct a work session at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Public Utility District
Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners will declare any conflicts of interest as defined in RCW 42.23 at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Conflict of interest declarations are required annually under the PUD’s Governance Policy No. 6.
The board will also consider a contract for laborers and its policy regarding fees for after hours call-ins that are on the customer side of the meter.
