Administrator compensation back in front of Mitchell Board of Education - The Daily Republic

gomotar.blogspot.com

The Mitchell Board of Education will consider administrator compensation for the 2021-22 school year at its next meeting.

The agenda item will be addressed at the Monday, April 26 meeting of the board, which is scheduled to be held virtually. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.

Administrator compensation was on the agenda for the April 12 meeting of the board, but it was tabled to Monday night’s meeting in the event an executive session was needed to discuss the qualifications, competence, performance, character or fitness of any public officer of employee or perspective public officer or employee, which is allowed under South Dakota law.

No executive session was scheduled on the agenda for the April 12 meeting.

If the board should move to executive session at the Monday meeting, the board members and the superintendent would enter a second virtual room within the public Zoom call. They would then discuss the topic of the executive session there. Once they had concluded that discussion, the board members and superintendent would return to the original Zoom call area and complete the remainder of the agenda.
