Lauren Stockwell had a busy night April 22 as she successfully represented two clients with applications pending before the Boothbay planning board.

Stockwell presented  Douglas Gardner Jr.,’s application for his 57 Lincoln St. property. He received approval for constructing a 40-foot by four-foot walkway from the existing stairs to a 14-foot by six-foot pier to a seasonal 50-foot by three-foot runway and a 24-foot by 10-foot float parallel to the shore. The pier is angled to the northeast. He lives in Cape Elizabeth and his Boothbay property is in the coastal residential and shoreline overlay zones.

Stockwell Environmental also represented John and Molly Malone of 32 Dover Road extension. The couple received approval to construct a 50-foot by six-foot pier to a seasonal 50-foot by 3.5-foot runway and a 10-foot by 20-foot float parallel to the shore. Their property is in the coastal residential and overlay shoreland zones.

The third application was for Robert Schyberg who was represented by Nicholas Plumer of Boothbay Region Surveyors. Schyberg received approval for dividing his Whale Rock Road lot within an existing subdivision. His property is in the coastal residential and shoreline overlay zone.

In other action, the board heard one pre-application. The Knickerbocker Group represented Randall Hack of Greenwich, Connecticut who is seeking to build a single family dwelling on his 30 Flint Lane property in East Boothbay. Code Enforcement Officer Jason Lorrain ruled the applicant must combine the two lots in order to receive a permit. “I can’t issue a permit until the subdivision line is dissolved and recorded with the Lincoln County Registry of Deeds,” he said.

The board meets next at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 19 via Zoom conference.
