The Roswell Hispano Chamber of Commerce has announced that Alma Salas is the organization’s newest board member.
Born and raised in Roswell, Salas graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in Portales with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. Salas has been with Pioneer Bank since 2010 and is the director of Retail Branch Operations.
She is also an active participant of the Team Pioneer program, serves as a CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocate) volunteer, and is a “big sister” for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
The Roswell Hispano Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to helping Hispanic businesses through cooperation and community empowerment.
The group said that they were “delighted” to announce Salas’ arrival on the board. Marcos Nava, executive director, said he is honored that she has joined and the organization is looking forward to working together to strengthen Roswell business.
